tmj Piraeus

What is TMJ?

Temporomandibular joint disorder is a condition that affects the temporomandibular joint, leading to muscle spasms and pain, possible clicking and vibrating in the jaw, headaches, ear problems, and possible difficulty opening and closing the mouth. This can affect your ability to concentrate or perform daily activities such as brushing your teeth or eating. This can be caused by trauma, posture problems, or oral/dental problems.

How chiropractic care can help

Chiropractic manipulations and other means can help reduce pain and muscle tightness and maintain normal jaw movement.

What can happen if I don't get any treatment?

You may have a continuation of jaw problems, with increasing severity of pain and/or clicking, and headaches leading to further dysfunction.
