Dr. Frank Fotis Antikidis BS, DC

Chiropractor — Doctor of Chiropractic

Fotis Antikidis, known to many of his patients as "Frank", is originally from Piraeus and has more than twenty years of professional experience in chiropractic. He studied in the United States, where he obtained the professional title Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from the National University of Health Sciences.

He has continued his education in sports injuries and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and has attended training in functional neurology at the Carrick Institute in the USA. Throughout his professional career, he has collaborated with physicians of different specialties, athletes and sports clubs.

In 2003, he founded the Elixir Wellness Center with chiropractor Monica Talebnia, with an emphasis on personalized care for people with musculoskeletal disorders. Today, they collaborate at Chiropractic Piraeus, prioritizing a careful approach, information, and the needs of each individual.

His particular area of interest is the chiropractic care of individuals with back pain, sciatica, and disc-related discomfort. He uses, among other things, the Cox Flexion/Distraction technique, a method of flexing and pulling the spine, as well as decompression techniques, depending on their suitability for each case.

His approach is based on each person's history, daily activities and personal goals. In his collaboration with athletes, he takes into account the demands of the sport and their specific needs, aiming to support mobility and functionality.

Dr. Monica Talebnia Antikidis DC, MS

Chiropractor | Diplomate in Acupuncture

Dr. Monica is a chiropractor and a certified acupuncturist, with a Master of Science in Biology, and over 25 years of clinical and academic experience. Her professional career spans the United States, Cyprus, and Greece, and includes teaching anatomy and physiology.

At Piraeus Chiropractic, she combines her scientific background with a careful, personalized approach to musculoskeletal care. The assessment begins with a careful listening to the patient, understanding their symptoms, and examining their movement and functionality. Where necessary, MRI and X-ray findings are considered in conjunction with the clinical examination.

Her approach combines chiropractic techniques, gentle mobilizations, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture and movement guidance, depending on the needs, preferences and examination findings of each patient. She places particular emphasis on clear explanations, shared decision-making and reassessment of progress.

Its goal is to help patients move more comfortably, improve their functionality in everyday life, and better understand the factors that contribute to their symptoms.

She works with her husband, Dr. Fotis Antikidis, at Chiropractic Piraeus, in Piraeus.
