THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT:

A chiropractic treatment usually consists of chiropractic adjustments that help restore normal function to the spine and nerves in the affected areas and also help eliminate pain. Also, in acute back cases, ice therapy (cryotherapy) is used to reduce swelling and should be applied immediately after an injury. It is important in acute cases to avoid using dry heat therapy at home, such as a heating pad on the lower back, as this can cause increased superficial swelling and possibly additional pain.
